Radio Lockhart is a part of The Lockhart Arts, Music, and Broadcasting Education Corporation (LAMBEC), a 501C3 nonprofit
founded in Lockhart, TX by a group of passionate individuals that have determined that the city would greatly benefit from a community radio station.
The FCC has issued a Low Power FM License window beginning on November 1, 2023 that will allow nonprofits to apply for one of these licenses.
When the license is granted, LAMBEC will have the legal right to construct a broadcast tower and broadcast up to 100 Watts of power to serve the community.
