je’Texas is an American rock band formed in Austin in 2020 with vocalist/guitarist Dylan Bishop, drummer Damien LLanes and bassist Gian Ortiz. je’Texas attention to story, melody/harmony, tone with lasting, pronounced, enjoyable rhythms might be reminiscent of music made circa 1969. Influenced by a wide range of genres (folk, blues, electric blues, country and western, funk, big band, classic rock, early rock and roll…) and at times with nods to Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and the Comets, the Coasters, the Beatles, Canned Heat, Diana Ross and the Supremes, their live show has been requested at many venues throughout Austin and surrounding areas.
